Within easy reach of the sandy Riviera beaches or the shores of Lac de St.Cassien, watersports are a popular pastime in this versatile destination, as well as a variety of different activities including walking, gliding and horse riding, but you might decide to simply put your feet up beside the pool and relax! There a many picturesque and interesting places to visit in the surrounding areas. Mougins a 20 minute drive away is renowned for its art and restaurants and for the many celebrities who have lived there over the years, including Picasso art. Much of the village dates back to the fifteenth century and it remains beautifully unspoilt. The livelier and cosmopolitan resorts of Cannes, Antibes, Juan Les Pins, St Raphael and Nice are an easy trip on the autoroute, all within a 30 minute drive. Travelling inland for 30 minutes passing Lac Cassien you will find Fayence one of many charming historic hilltop towns found in this region
